Nice to meet you—I’m Jessica (or Jess) Lin. As my homepage obnoxiously announces, I am a designer with a keen sense of art direction. Usually, there’s a 4/5 chance you’ll find me mulling over imagery or pixels with a boba tea in hand.
I am currently leading the Creative team at Vivino, heads down on both the big picture and daily design needs. Previously, I was a Senior Marketing Designer at HotelTonight by Airbnb. While both experiences revolved around brand and performance marketing design, each role has been instrumental in my growth as a designer and creative in unique and monumental ways.
I was born in San Jose, California but was relocated to Singapore at a young age. After a colorful childhood in Singapore, I ventured back across the world to study Fine Arts at UCLA. There, I immersed myself in a multitude of media: photography, painting, sculpture, etching—the list goes on. However, over the four years, I found a growing passion for design and started to learn the tools and best practices on the side. And that’s where I kicked off my design career.
My current location pin reads San Francisco, but my map history shows clusters in Singapore and Taiwan.
