When accessing Sephora.com on desktop, the first and largest asset on the homepage is the slide. Given the millions of daily users on Sephora.com, homepage slides receive substantial exposure. This placement drives clicks and conversions to our numerous campaigns and promotions, making this asset incredibly important. As one of the lead designers for homepage, I have crafted many homepage slides, starting from concepting/photo direction to final design with retouched images. From designing these slides, I have become familiar with composing art direction decks, working on a live photoshoot set, and collaborating with photographers and retouchers.

Plan to be Spontaneous Campaign

One of HotelTonight’s main value proposition is last-minute hotel bookings, allowing for uniquely spontaneous travel and adventures. But what if you’re not a last-minute type of person? That’s okay, when your calendar is crammed with events and reminders, we understand if you need a little ping to plan for spontaneity.

 
 
 
 

Prior to the campaign, we gathered user information through surveys and listening sessions. One interesting finding was that many users were scattered across a spectrum of creative industries. Thus, we crafted three personalities—a fashion designer, musician, and chef—to relate to and inspire viewers.
